The Rock Church

The churches seem to be really nice, and they have very nice people. I like the high energy. Also, it seems like there are a lot of young people. All in all, it's all about Jesus and I am very happy

You don't attend church for the people but for the Relationship that is between you and God. Like any relationship you have - could be with your parents, spouse, loved one or a co-worker...you have to work hard for your relationship to blossom. God works the same exact way. Do not let people and their personal characters get in the way of what God wants to bless you with. God loves you.

This church is amazing and people will be upfront with you because they love you. You need to be able to handle the truth and cannot take it personal and not assume that its a judgement - when IT IS NOT. If anyone is trying to help to become the best person You Want To Be then you have to allow them to TEACH you like any teacher in school.

Very different and modern, but God is truly here! You will find imperfect people and problems anywhere, but when people are healed of cancer, get jobs within a week of coming to church, and have a whole lifestyle change no person can do that! Only God! Their mission is not to reach the people who already know Christ it is to save souls and fill heaven! Not to mention all the free community resources and events! Just amazing!!!

Honestly to be completely sincere you should avoid this place at all costs... This will just be a place to stumble upon... This is coming from someone who used to go here for a very long time 2 years ago... Seriously this place is plain idolitry... Put that aside teyre just sucking up your money to build what? A fancy religious building and a bathroom for the pastors? Church should be somewhere where you feel accepted and involved not somewhere where you go and just hand your hard earned money out... If you really want to look for God and devote your life to him here is certainly not the place to do it... Please... Look for somewhere where the pastors aren't the churches priority... The churches priority should be the good Lord not a pastor that's idolitry... But in general its just a place of spiritual babies and idolitry and a major business with confused workers... I am writing this review because the dishonesty on these reviews is disgusting. I used to be a leader at this church for almost 5 years. A few of the reviews on here are written not by members of the church who came in and got to know the place but by the son's of the Pastor's who founded the church. All reviews from a person with the last name Surillo are son's of the pastor's who founded the church not actual members who joined it after it was started. They intentionally wrote reviews which come off misleading in an effort to offset some of the negative ratings. When I came to this church I thought it was the greatest church until I grew in ministry and found that the Pastor's were not who they pretended to be. They spread gospel that did not come from the bible and ostracized anyone who questioned their teachings. I personally went through what the church likes to refer to as a stripping. Basically this occurs to you when you don't tolerate someone abusing you and that person is more favored than you or if you question any decision made. They intentionally begin to punishing you by systemically making you an outcast. The purpose of a stripping is to get you to repent and fall back in line with the way they want things done. They will not admit it is being done to you but will tell you that whatever you feel you are going through that is a season God is putting you through. This church teaches that everything that your leader or Pastor says is direct instruction from God and that any time God speaks to you, you must get approval from that leader or Pastor before acting on it. If they don't agree with what God told you then you are to listen to them since God's voice in them is stronger than in you. They try to keep people from leaving by using scripture to instill fear such as telling people that they will lose their anointing or that 7 demonic spirits will destroy them if they leave. They also teach their congregation as if they are the only true church and other churches are not as anointed as they are. The teachings in this church are very dangerous and many of the people who leave do so after they have been so abused that they never want to go back into a church again. I caution everyone to really read the reviews because the negative reviews are not lying. I pray you each find yourself in the church God has called you to be in and that you measure all doctrine taught against the bible.
