In a word amazing! !! If you haven't experienced a roast beef sandwich with caramelized onions & gravy on a toasted hero, you're life has yet to begin. I've yet to eat something here I didn't enjoy. If you don't know what subway means your not from the neighborhood, but we wont hold that against you . Come early avoid the lines .

Just left after ordering the special. Group of about 8 guys order after me. I give a $5 tip on a $15 order and then after the worker bags my order he says oh I didn't charge you for the "Mountain Dew". I said I just gave a 5 buck tip are you kidding me? He said I don't work on tips and I made a mistake. So I told him to take it out of the tip. I felt like a jerk, bad customer service, and I can't even eat my sandwich yet cause I'm so turned off. I gave 4 stars cause the food is great but that guy made me feel small.

Fellow Brooklyn natives have raved for years about the roast beef and mozzarella sandwich from John's and I only first had it in 2015. So worth the hype for so many reasons: the bread is fresh and crispy, the roast beef is like butter and perfectly sliced, the mozzarella is insane, the onions are so soft and are perfect toppers and finally, the gravy is out of this world. The rice pudding is also phenomenal, don't bother adding cinnamon as its perfect as it is. Prices are fair and service is friendly so with the sandwich, this place is perfect

Roast beef supreme here is hands down the most delicious sandwich in the world. The roast beef is fresh and steaming with pleasant vapors of succulent and soft beef. Placed on a perfectly crisp Italian hoagie bun, the flavors combine with cheese and caramelized onions to create a firework explosion in your mouth. Not only is this sandwich delicious, its a Brooklyn sized sandwich! Not the Manhattan fufu. The sandwich is huge! Packed with meat and more meat! Not like the 2 pieces of disgusting processed bread with 1 calculated piece of meat and cheese and packed with filler lettuce, that you get at Subway!
Eat here! The place is great! (new owners but they seem to be keeping the same recipe!)
