- Very Good #122006
Very good steak, appetizers were pretty good. Good choices of beer and wine. Friendly staff and all food is reasonably priced

My girlfriend and I went for lunch and had the filet mignon burger. This included a beautifully cooked filet, truffle fries and small Caesar salad for $19! The staff was attentive and accommodating. Both Filets were properly cooked (medium and medium rare, respectively), and the accompaniments were all well prepared. This is a wonderfully affordable way to experience a piece of old NY without sacrificing quality. We will definitely be back!

Way too expensive for what it is. Waiter very pushy to get on with the dinner and constantly trying to upsell. Then very rude telling me how much I should pay for tip (suggesting over 25%). Then of course it was the end of his shift and he was in a rush to get home.

By far the worst steakhouse I have ever been to. Our party arrived at 8PM, we were seated fairly quick, but that's where the positive attributes ceased.
After being seating, the waiter took our drink orders, brought back a martini MADE WITH TEQUILA! After we ordered, 90 minutes went by with no explanation as to why our order was taking as long as it did. When the food finally came, at 10 minutes to 10PM, it was cold. A family member of mine had ordered sides that never arrived. It took several times of telling the waiter that we had yet to get our sides. It took several attempts for the sides to actually arrive. Each time we asked, the waiter would respond, "oh, no one brought it out yet?" We were a party large enough to require a mandatory tip, maybe that's why they were so disinterested in making any effort at all to give us a pleasant dining experience. Anyway, there are far better steakhouses in NY, skip this one. It's a tourist trap skating on name and chronology. I'm never going to this place again and warning everyone that I know to stay away.
Tl;dr never eat here, it takes too long and the food is bad anyway.
