Very decent and upscale restaurant. Michelin one star. Delicious new Zealand cuisine. Service is very comfortable. We had long story tasting menu.

Unpretentious New Zealand fare in a rustic-chic setting. Tasting menu is diverse and delightful; includes a private setting for a special dish.

Amazing experience. We had the short story tasting menu. There were 4 snacks on the table. And for the 5th snack, chef Matt invites us to the garden to grill the oyster for us. That was a great interaction! Then came the tune with bonito puree; quail with bread sauce and chipolini onion; pork loin and belly. All perfectly seasoned and gorgeously presented. The desserts were lemon icy with marjoram jelly and chocolate tarte with mint ice cream (made with the mint grew in the garden). They finished our meal off with assortments of petit fours.
I would definitely come back! What a great experience!!

I went here with a couple of friends to try a Michelin star restaurant for the first time, and it was totally worth it! The staff was attentive and courteous, and the environment is rustic with modern accents. The staff created a curated experience where they presented the flavors and textures in the dish and pointed out the more subtle taste notes, which are best appreciated if enjoyed slowly and mindfully. My favorite was the Berkshire pork: so succulent, and complemented well with the potatoes and hangi vegetables.
