HORRIBLE HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE AT THIS BED & BREAKFAST, "MISSING LANTERN" EXPOSED WIRES, DIRTY FILTHY SHOWER CURTAIN, NON-WORKING BOTH TELEVISION AND DVD PLAYER, ALSO, BROKEN/RAGGED BLINDS AT WINDOWS, AND IN ADDITION, THE WASHER/DRYER SHOWN AND ADVERTISED ON WEBSITE, HAD A SIGN WHICH READ: Please Do Not Use Washer and Dryer Violator Will Be Fined $100. Thank You Management. THE MAIN REASON I BOOKED THIS SUITE WAS FOR THE AVAILABILITY OF WASHER/DRYER. THIS IS CONSIDERED FALSE ADVERTISING AND THE WITH-HOLDING & MISLEADING OF PERTINENT INFORMATION IN ORDER CHARGE PATRONS HIGHER RATES, TO SHOW THE EXTREME RUDENESS AND UNPROFESSIONAL BEHAVIOR OF MISSING LANTERN STAFF. THE FINAL DYSFUNCTION OF MISSING LANTERN WAS WHEN DIRTY NASTY FILTHY WATER BEGAN POURING FROM CEILING &LIGHT FIXTURES ONTO FURNITURE & PERSONA ITEMS. I THEN LEFT THIS PLACE:MISSING LANTERN NEVER TO RETURN.

Only reason it is not one star is location and charm. Lots of decor inside the room, and really close to the subway. As for what's wrong, it is missing the basics. To get in you use a code on a door and have to have two hands to get the door open - not very conducive to carrying luggage into the building. There were two conditioners, lots of little soap bars, but no shampoo (sounds simple but really frustrating). But the cherry on top is communication. During regular business hours, they may or may not pick up the phone... I think it has something to do with how the planets are aligned. After business hours, there is an email. Since we arrived on the weekend and found three things broken (not the shampoo), we emailed and waited until Monday afternoon for a resolution. Not even a reply email to let us know that we weren't being ignored. So recap, great location and decor; piss poor communication and missing the simple things anyone in the hospitality business can tell you will make or break a business.

My family and I spent a week in the 2-bedroom unit during Christmas. We were comfortable and had plenty of space. It would have been nice if the TVs in the bedroom and in the living room did not have to be on the same channel. Sometimes teenagers and parents would rather not want to watch the same programming. But we were so busy, it didn't really matter. We would definitely stay there again.
