Great location, luxurious toiletries and comfortable bed and shower. Sometimes hear random noises (other toilets flushing, etc) but that's NYC for you! Would happily stay here again.

Nice hotel near Chelsea Market. Much more mature and calmer than the Dream next door. I'd recommend it for a better night sleep than at the Dream. Only complaint was that the AC seemed to be automatic and didn't respect the temperature I entered. I had to call down to the front desk to get them to reset it.

The Maritime is a really nice hotel located in a great neighborhood in New York. It has a unique naval style to the rooms, and the rooms are sized very typically for the area. The amenities are nice and the mini-bar was well stocked.

There are plenty of great restaurants in the area within a couple minutes of walking distance.

I checked in late in the night. Got to the room and it was smelling of Varnish. Front desk sent someone to check and confirm the room was painted recently. They had no other room and the only suggestion was to leave the window open which only made it worse since the hotel is in a very busy area of midtown, with very heavy traffic and lots horn sounds even after midnight. Other than it was a decent place.
