The Mac Support Store

My macbook pro was crashing and corrupted my OS. They helped me replace the OS and then found an apple recall on my macbook pro. They sent off my macbook to apple to be repaired (apple repaired it for free because of the recall). They were friendly, honest, and very helpful. I would definitely recommend them to anyone with mac issues. :)

I had a great experience here. They put a fresh battery in my MacBook Air, giving it a new lease on life. If I'd gone through Apple, the service would have taken a week. The Mac Support Store did it within a single day. Very pleased with the results.

A great resource for Brooklyn. Attentive, knowledgable and pleasant staff. They were all a pleasure to work with and I encourage anyone who has technical needs to consider using their services. Home grown businesses like the Mac Store are what the community should be supporting as it keeps money in our communities and fosters the kind of neighborhood that New Yorkers often lament is leaving our city. Support this company! They also have a wonderful modest mini museum of older macs that still work that are cool to see there. Highly recommend.

I'm a local guy so schlepping my Mac Pro that wouldn't start into Manhattan wasn't high on my list of things I'd love to do. Fortunately, I remember seeing this place after checking out the Morbid Anatomy Museum a few times and so I loaded up my tower and the Wizards at the Mac Support Store had her up and running after just a day. The price was much lower than I expected, they cleaned all the dust outta the inside and it seems faster now too. Miguel at the front desk was nice, even when I dropped off just a few minutes before closing. Judi helped me when I came back to pick up my tower and she was honestly happy to see someone with a desktop computer in the age of tablets and iOS and mentioned how she loves them because they are easier to upgrade and keep to date.
The space was cozy with a few kids playing computer games and had vintage Mac posters all over the walls, there was Netflix available on a big TV and comfy couches to sit and chill. There were different Macs to try out/rent/purchase and a group of vintage macs that they still had up and running that just show how far we've progressed and have gotten spoiled.
My macs rarely need maintainance or upgrading but I will take them back here because I had a great experience, the staff are down-to-earth people, I'm all for keeping it local and I want the first Mac Support Store in Brooklyn to thrive.

My Macbook Pro crashed while traveling for a couple weeks, and I had some work during this period that was not backed up. The staff at the Mac Support Store were great through the entire process! The process and pricing scenarios were clearly laid out, I was called within 36 hours of dropping off the computer, and they managed to extract all of my data during the middle of the holiday season. Upon returning home and dropping the computer off at the local Apple Store, I found out the problem with the computer was quite serious (logic board). The quick service by the team at the Mac Support Store really saved me in this case - the data on the computer, related to my work, was much more valuable than the computer itself, and ended up saving me a huge hassle. Generally I found the 3 employees I interacted with to be professional, straightforward, and courteous, and I wouldn't hesitate to go back should I ever be in the New York area and need service.
