This is a really great dive bar. It has cheap beer, a pool table and free cheeze balls. If you are not into heavy rock music it may not be to you liking.

Very laid back atmosphere. Everything you want in a dive bar and cheese balls to boot! If you're looking to venture off Bedford, the Levee is the place to go.

How could you not give this bar 5 stars? Free cheese balls, large $4 draft beers (some are a bit more pricey though). There is an old school jukebox with a mix of punk, rock, and a touch of classic country music. They play it nice and loud too because this is a party bar. The bathrooms are unisex, a back outdoor patio where they seem to have no problem if you bring your dog. The patrons here are great and even made me feel welcomed on my first visit. This is definitely one of the best old school dive bars remaining in NYC.
