The Learning Experience

I am completely shocked by all the bad reviews. I've been using this center for the past 4 years. I first had my son there. He then moved on to public school and now my daughter is there. They recently had a change of directors (actually the original director returned- she had left for medical reasons). They have everything I look for in a center: they are loving, caring, they are secure, center is clean and full of toys and books, they provide meals and snacks, they meet nj ratios, my child is learning, etc. I would recommend them.

As a fan of TLE I can't help wonder why there are such negative reviews, I have only positive things to express about the staff & the facility of The Learning Experience.
As a business owner myself I understand the power of reviews & the miss use of them as well,I had inquired about the "Bold negative reviews" & everyone I had talked to let me know it was a few short-lived employees.
If anyone had any reservation at all, they have an open door policy & always welcome visitors.

Teachers are sweet, director is not very informed of things. Not enough teachers working per child. The teachers look bored. My child came home dirty every day. I would never recommend this day care to anyone. Stay away! Waste of money and it makes you worry about your child's safety.

Terrible center. Dirty, teachers are not very knowledgeable. Director is unprofessional.

I cannot recommend this daycare. I think there are some very talented teachers, but the child teacher ratios go only by the NJ state bare minimum, which are unnacceptable, and create anything but a "learning experience." The teachers would spend all day counting the kids, just to make sure they were all there; there was no time to anything constructive, as far as I could see. It was totally chaotic-Toddlers were running around with runny noses, crying and needing attention, and not getting it because there simply weren't enough staff to go around. The teacher turnover was terrible;so there was never a sense of continuity for the children. Despite the bells and whistles and clean exterior, my child was sick ALL THE TIME. (being sick in daycare happens, but not all the time...we've been in other daycares where we did not get sick....ever). Again, some wonderful teachers, but not enough of them. This is nothing more than a business...without the children's best interests and happiness in mind. We tried hard to make this work, and expressed our concerns to the director, staff, and ultimately corporate HQ, but got no resolution, so we left. I do not recommend this daycare.
