The Learning Experience

In response to Emma H...I have had all three of my children in TLE since 2010. I have known the infant room teachers for about 4 years now. They are nothing but loving and caring, EXPERIENCED caregivers and moms.
Currently, my 8 month year old daughter is in the infant room. Every morning she is greeted with a smile and hug. In fact, she lunges toward her teacher, reassuring me that she is comfortable and ready for mommy to go to work. These two women have made it easier to leave my baby girl knowing they are caring for her the way I would.
When I had my third child, it was a no brainer. I would bring her to TLE simply because of these two amazing, loving women!

Please do not put your infants/toddlers in this school!

I just went for a tour of the school as I was waiting for the owner to give me pricing I saw on the monitor a teacher in one of the infant rooms shaking a baby in its crib. I mean she was moving the crib back and forth w/ force trying to get the baby to sleep. This really scared me and I even said something to the owner and she said it just looks like that because the crib has wheels. I am sorry but that baby was being shaked like crazy. Then I saw this same teacher put the baby in a bouncy seat and again shaking the baby w/ full force. Very scary.

I have had my son at TLE in Matawan for 2.5 years. We have had nothing but the best of care for our child. He has been very lucky and not experienced much turnover with teachers which was very important to us. We feel completely safe with him at this school and now at 3 he is learning so much. He recently pointed out the Statue of Liberty and the Eiffel Tower in pictures- things I KNOW he didn't learn from us. He is growing and thriving and we are very pleased with our experience.

Let's face it....no one wants to pay 1000 dollars a month for preschool. But this is the reality of any good quality preschool program. You can be comforted by the fact that TLE Matawan is worth every penny. My son has received such a good quality education here. It is amazing how much he has learned in the past 6 months. And that is priceless. Not does TLE provide a great quality education but I am also very pleased with the program for their emphasis on other important life skills such as philanthropy which is not only taught but shown to the kids on a daily basis. From Spanish, to sign language and world cultures the TLE program shapes the children into well rounded individuals at an early age. The staff is pleasant. The director is welcoming and extremely understanding and flexible. The hours are convenient and probably most important for busy mom's like myself, healthy food is provided daily. I am really very pleased with the program. Couldn't ask for better.

Very poor experience at this school. Owner is unkind and money hungry. Ratios were above 4:1 many times and facility was unwelcoming. Avoid.
