A DISASTER and a heartache for us as parents. Try to avoid this place. Very unprofessional staff. I do believe they have teachers that are warm, caring and educated and we saw a couple but, unfortunately, they were not our daughter's teachers. Her teachers, or teachers' assistants had no knowledge of child's psychology, needs or fears that needed to be addressed in a warm and caring manner regularly. They seemed very detached, cold, and uneducated. It seemed, for them, it was just a job. Our daughter was there for 2 days only and we had to stop sending her there after noticing how physically rough one of the teacher's assistant was with her. And it was just one of a few incidents we noticed during those two days. We had to report the incident but the teachers, when confronted, avoided presenting real facts! They have cameras, but their cameras DO NOT record so you are not able to see the footage of anything that happens during the day. A BIG red flag and a hopeless situation.

We regret ignoring all other red flags we noticed. The first thing that struck me was how quiet and miserable the kids looked whether it was meal time or play time. Crying toddlers were not attended to, not comforted, and instead - scolded for crying. The idea of having a circle time was to force the kids to sit in a circle and handle them like they were rag dolls. Unfortunately, at that time, our daughter was too little to be able to communicate with us as to what was making her scared and uncomfortable.

We had such an awful experience with this place! If I could, I would give them NO stars at all.

The Glass house prisoners. Do not send your child to this day care. " I will turn off lights" threatened a teacher several times when I was still there. I noticed when my child was playing "school" , she repeatedly punished and was rude to her dolls after 3 months at this school. She interacted different scenarios, and each time "the teacher" was awful. I stayed with her for 30 to 45 mins each day to make her more comfortable before I went to work. She was in a half day program and we started from 8 am, at the end I would leave her at 11 am and pick her up after nap. Our separation only became worse. day by day she withdrew and was so timid that outside of our home she refused to speak (to anyone but family) and she whispered to us. I spent lots of time in the classroom different times of the day. I was so focused in making her comfortable it took me 3 months to admit I made a mistake and that all children are miserable at this facility. She was sick every second week. during the last month we missed 3 weeks. Babies cry miserably on the first floor and as you get to upper floors there is eerie silence where toddlers should study & play . From my observation only time children do not experience psychological pressure and corporal punishment, is when they are in line to use the bathroom. And even though children are spending half of the time in line to use bathroom, they ask for permission to use bathroom constantly. Because this only time they have some freedom. After repeatedly coming home with soaking wet sleeves, I was rolling sleeves to her elbows to prevent this happening. The sink is too high and nobody helps.
After a week I had to ask to add liquid soap in a dispenser. I don't see how rinsing water without soap is sanitary.
List can go on. At the end looking back I question if I an a bad mother for letting my child suffer so long? The most important experience in childhood is happiness and sense of security, not imprisonment.
PS. Her dolls study happily in a pretend school after she was free from "the (horrid) learning experience". now we can hear her ringing voice, no more whispering.

In the beginning, besides the fact that my daughter got sick non stop for the first year, it was satisfactory. It bothered me that much of the staff didn't speak proper English; "Tell your mom what we was learning today" made me cringe a little, but they seemed nurturing and my daughter seemed happy. Then I started noticing that the place was getting dirtier and dirtier. There is always a dank, moldy smell in the vestibule and the icing on the cake was the unannounced closing of September 20, 2013, without so much as a courtesy call. It is extremely expensive, there are schools that do just as much for $900 a month as opposed to the $1300 some odd dollars I was shelling out. Individual teachers there were fantastic and they know who they are, but do yourself a favor, save some money and go somewhere else.

This daycare is the only reason I would not move out of my neighborhood yet! TLE has done an outstanding job, in my eyes, with caring for my child. The facility is colorful, youthful, safe and especially clean. The staff listens to your concerns and needs attentively and have been caring for my daughter since she was 8 months. Especially through the different phases I've been going through with her. I appreciate when they catch any changes in learning and behavior and have helped me work on it with her. My daughter is now 3, has just started their pre-school level and I'm enjoying every bit of helping her with her homework assignments. I would definitely reccommend this daycare if you live in the area.

My wife and I love The Learning Experience. Both of our sons are enrolled there and we would not want it any other way. Our oldest has been there since the school fist opened. We visited several other schools before seeing The Learning Experience but nothing could compare. The school is clean, the staff is warm and knowledgeable, and the facility is safe. We always feel comfortable leaving our children in their care. Their inside playroom (Make Believe Boulevard) is absolutely gorgeous, as is their outdoor play area. The staff truly cares about the children and deserve the utmost praise.
