The Hotel Newton

In town for a professional conference in August. Rooms are clean and spacious, beds are quite comfortable, and the bathrooms, while a tad small, are updated and pleasant. Staff was accommodating and our reservations were organized and ready for us when we arrived. Some odd smells in the common areas, mostly chemical (cleaning). Common areas are small but functional and not cramped. Located one block from the 96th street subway stop, and well served by the affordable little diner downstairs. I would highly recommend this hotel for its location and value for overnight/short term travelers, particularly singles and couples.

Excellent room service, nice and clean. Just front a Subway station and close to many places to eat. Love the location. Room had good space not as little as others reviewes mentioned. Clean towels every day. Recommend this place!!

Wonderful location (subway stop right out front, in a nice safe neighborhood, close to lots of great attractions).

Fantastic staff and clean hotel.

My bed was a bit more firm than I personally like but overall I could not have asked for a better place - especially for the price.
