This Home Depot is the worst i've been to. It's very dirty and the employees are nowhere to be found. Even when you find an employee to help you, they generally point in a direction and don't help much more than that. This happened many times since this is the closest to where I work.

Big place and cheap prices. Lots of workers around to help if you can't find something.

Horrible service. Nobody there cares about helping customers. I go to the family owned hardware store down the road. Back to basics, where they actually appreciate customers.

This store is ALWAYS a mess. I live a half mile away on Floral Park and only visit this store for very basic items. The 10 extra minutes it takes to go to the Hempstead store is well worth it.
Customer Service is non-existent in this store. The shelves are a mess, and the customer desk is rude.
The Home Depots in Hempstead and Raceway/Westbury are MUCH MUCH MUCH better and worth trip.

It's just like any other Home Depot really. You go in, get lost looking for what you need, ask an associate for help, get lost again, ask another associate and then finally get that one gorilla glue bottle you were there to buy. On a serious note though, I've had some good experiences in this store. Customer service is really a hit or miss. I've had some really poor service sometimes, while other times the associates have really gone out of their way to help me pick the correct drill gun for my DIY.
