Friendly staff.
Not as knowledgeable as the Forest Avenue location, but a perfect fit for the neighborhood it serves.

They can always do better, and start by the "professionals" they hire, who really don't know much about what they do, and actually try to avoid you. Hire people who know about power tools, pay them more if you have to, but at least they will be able to supply answers. All i needed was a screw for concrete, and ended with something recommended by their "pro" that did not do the job. My neighbor helped me at the end.

Typical Home Depot: item might be listed as "in stock" online but when you actually drive to the store and look for that specific item - there's a good chance you (or the people who work there) won't find it because the particular store shelf where that item was supposed to be is a total mess, with different parts mixed together, and nobody there knows (or cares about) when some other worker will actually bring that item from "storage room" to the store's shelf and will properly organize all these items on the shelf.

Personal advice: if you're looking for some small or "hard-to-break" part/item - don't drive to the store. Ever. Order it online instead, either at HD's site or someplace else. Or find it at your smaller local hardware store.

I have an idea for Home Depot, that will cost them a little and will make them millions. Pay the people who work for you more, and maybe some people who actually want to help and like their work will come to work for you.
It is impossible to wait 2o minutes for someone to come help me choose a drilling machine. I bought someplace else.

It's a nice store with larger selection than other Home Depot. Service is average overall but Paula in the paint department more than makes up for it. She is absolutely joy to work with; always willing to go the extra mile to satisfy the customer. We've had lots of paints mixed (bought a house, lots of repainting) and she gave us ton of great advice. Paula also worked tirelessly to re-mix a color after we changed our mind (weeks later). She was able to match paint (one previously mixed to order; we just needed a different tint) with our tiles perfectly when everybody else would have just said 'sorry no can do'. She is just always willing to help and greets everyone with a smile. Great with our kids too, strikes a conversation and jokes around. In my opinion you either have it or don't to provide this level of service, Paula certainly takes the cake.
