It's obvious that this girl has a huge chip on her shoulder. HDC is not for everyone, especially people who are too mentally and emotionally weak to work hard to reap the rewards. Running and push-ups should not be the only focus of what you got out of the HDC experience. HDC is about becoming an educated dancer with the discipline and hard work to make it in the industry and beyond. Most HDC students have previous experience in dance and aim to become teachers and choreographers. Blade Academy is a partner school for people who haven't had formal training but want to become hip-hop dancers. Blade Academy hosts the Friday Open Classes which are always fun and energized. I love all the people I train with everyday and the teachers. At first, I thought that the physical training was too hard but after 2 weeks, I started loving the classes. I feel very empowered by being in HDC. If you are mentally strong, you can make it. The school is working on becoming accredited by the government and there is at least 4 instructors plus several dancers of the company who are in leadership positions. I don't know where you get the idea that HDC doesn't know anything about hip hop.
