I had a fabulous, fabulous experience getting a blowout with no wait in the afternoon on a Thursday. It was clean and quick and I looked beautiful. Can't wait to go back.

My old salon closed and I had been dreading finding a new place in Brooklyn Heights. I am so glad I picked this place. Mykal was awesome. Listened to what I wanted and was fun and casual and took good care of me and my hair. I will definitely be making this my new place.

I have my hairdresser, my angel, in Prague. Unfortunately I cannot go cut hair there as much as I need it. So I was looking for a salon for quite a time to go here. Yesterday I finally decided to go. Today I wish I didn't. The women who cut my hair looks like a student. My hair looks like if I took a pot and cut around it and even yesterday would nobody tell I was by hairdresser. I am sorry...I know that it probably looks like I do not care about my hair... but I do....

I've followed Mario from his former jobs at the Avalon salon in the West Village, to two other places in Brooklyn Heights. I'm thrilled he has his own place now. My husband and I both go to him, and he just did my 1 year old's! Mario is a pro and the only stylist I've gone to on a regular basis. He's cut 8 inches off my hair and made a fantastic bob happen. He's done general maintenance and trims and also has done my hair for special occasions. He's also hilarious. The salon is beautiful and is a very convenient location. Highly recommended!

I am so happy that Rafael finally opened his own place. He is such a great stylist, and is so creative that I expected nothing less from him. The salon is so beautifully decorated, and all the furniture and seating is soooo comfortable. Feels like a home. Simply impressively,
I highly, highly recommend Rafael for the keratin treatment and for haircuts as well. Now I can truly say that I highly recommend a salon as well. I can't say enough about how beautiful The Heights Salon was decorated.
