The Griffin

This is the worse place I ever went and treated me so badly! First, there is mandatory coat check for four dollars even though you are cold they don't CARE!!!!
Second, it was open bar, which is because my friends already paid for it, the bartender was asking me for tips in a disrespectful manner (YOU NEVER ASK). Everyone that was working there was rude, with no matters, and just completely careless about CUSTOMER SERVICE!!

I would not recommend anyone to go to GRIFFIN, it is the worse place plus is very small and uncomfortable!

THEY SHOULD BE CLOSED DOWN!!!!!

Bad first experience. I went to this place for the first time on a Monday. It was my birthday so I came out on a night I usually stay in. Most of my friends work regular jobs so I was by myself before I could even enter the promoter tells me I have to open a 150 dollar tab at the bar to get in not including the entry fee. This is on a Monday

The night was going well, and I was clubbing in a swanky nightclub in the meat packing district of New York, I thought I would have a blast. I was absolutely wrong, after having a few drinks and having friends around me, I approached the bar to close out my tab to only find out that not only did they try and charge me for an extra drink, BUT THEY ADDED A WHOLE BOTTLE to the charge and took advantage of my drunk stature to urge me against it! I understand that it is every person's resposibility to monitor their own drinking, but if somebody comes up to a bar and is incoherent, it becomes the bartender's job to cut them off NOT CHARGE THEM A BOTTLE AND LAUGH. Not only that, they tipped themselves an extra $30 after I had left. This place was not what I expected and I would be weary about handing your card to the shady bartenders.

I held my last Super Tasty event at The Griffin and it was amazing.
The Event Coordinator Lauren Lenihan helped my through every aspect of the event, making sure the club met all my requirements and dealt with and anticipated any issues. Her friendly helpful attitude was reflected by her staff as well.
The Club is beautiful and the sound system is great. I couldn't have been happier.
I will be having my next Super Tasty event at The Griffin again.
