Great place. Owners are amazing friendly people. Some items are a bit more expensive than you'd like but once you get them you won't regret it. Coconut pastelito is my favorite.

I got their empanadas once and their spinach pie - the latter was pretty good and filling. I think it's a bit on the expensive side for the quality of food. But the guy behind the counter was really nice.

I was dying for some coffee while walking around SoHo, and it just so happened that I was right next to the Frog's Crown. I've probably passed this place over a hundred times and never noticed it. Safe to say, I will be stopping here in the future. The Frog's Crown is tiny, but it packs some amazing pastries and coffee. Seating inside can probably fit around 5, and there's a little bench outside. On the bright side, there is free WiFi here (pssst....the password is "princess"). WiFi is of course, super fast because there is never really anyone that sits inside. The decor here is pretty neat. All over the wall, there are artworks featuring of course, a frog and a princess. Pretty cute, and fits right into this bakery.
First of all, the staff here is amazingly friendly. When I stopped by and finished my coffee and snack, I got up and was about to leave, when the dude working here asked if I wanted a German donut. Free?! Why the hell not! The best part, the donut here tastes amazing. Anyhow, I came here and ordered a cappuccino and a guava chausson.
The coffee here uses beans from Porto Rico, so you know they're quality beans. My cappuccino tasted pretty good (better than the crap they serve at Starbucks), but it doesn't quite stack up to the one at Blue Bottle. Understandable, considering that their pastries are pretty epic. The guava chausson was simply amazing. A nice puff pastry with guava stuffing inside? Pure awesomeness. The puff was nice and crunchy outside, and soft inside. The guava wasn't overly sour/sweet, and a had a nice cream cheese to compliment the jelly. At $3.50, it might be a little much, but I thought it was well worth the price. There are just so many other choices to choose from here, but I was quite happy with my decision.
The Frog's Crown is a great bakery in SoHo. It's not overly hyped and packed with tourists, and always delivers. Great friendly staff, clean shop, tasty pastries, and of course, free WiFi. Simply amazing.
