The Fish Hut of New Jersey

Don't let their selection fool you. They don't guarantee their saltwater fish. I bought 2 Clownfish on Sunday and put them in a quarantine tank. I fed them the next day, one fish ate and one didn't. The next day, the fish that didn't eat had a fungus on him. He was dead 2 hours later. I am now treating the other fish in the hopes that it doesn't die. I called the store and they told me there is a 24 hour guarantee on freshwater fish and no guarantee on saltwater fish. So I am out the $20 that I paid for a fish that died 46 hours after I bought it, the $23 that I paid for the medication and I am hoping that I won't lose another $20 for the second Clownfish. That was the second time I was there and the first time I bought any fish from there. I will not be going back. Thanks a lot Fish Hut.

I just discovered The Fish Hut and I have to tell you this place is Awesome for African cichlids. They have a huge selection and wonderful service too. There is not a better place around to get your cichlids believe me I know. They also have the rare and hard to find cichlids. I know this place will see a lot of me in the future.

Was just their today for the 1st time, all I can say is WOW!! If you are into african chiclids this is the place!! Amazing variety at least 70 different tanks!! Haps, peacocks, mbuna's, julie, trophies..etc etc..all sizes and reasonable priced. Also very clean and a well trained staff. Will be buying my fish there from now on..

Excellent selection of African cichlids!!! I drove two hours to the store after reading other great reviews. And it was well worth the trip! Excellent knowledgeable staff, great selection of fish, and great prices!!! I can't wait to drive back again!

So glad i found this place! I was so impressed of their wide selection of African cichlids, and all of their fish tanks in prestine condition. Employees and owner was very knowledgeable and friendly purchased 3 fish. Definitely going back
