The Double Windsor

Steps away from the G and F trains, The Double Windsor is a cozy pub with a crowd thirsty for great beers and cocktails. Be warned: it is strictly cash only at this stop. Beer prices are modest, and the selection is rather impressive amongst the 10+ taps pouring high quality craft beer. The food smells delightful, but was a little on the expensive side for my taste. The Double Windsor is a throwback to simpler times. Plenty of communal seating, but you'll have to be quick to grab one while the bar is slammed. There's also a decent bottle selection, definitely not the best in Brooklyn though. With its placing a stone's throw from the Subway, it's an excellent spot to start your weekend pub crawl through some notable Brooklyn watering holes as well!

My coworkers come here on a regular basis after work. And it's a cozy spot. Not too big for large groups. There's bar seating plus table seating on the sides. In the middle there's a huge table usually a small group sits there. So far have been here like 3 times and each time it's been chill. The food is pretty good. My favorite so far has to be the wings. Man are they tasty. Also had the Mac and cheese before and that was pretty good. Beer is typical. They have happy hour specials. I would suggest getting here right after work. And bring cash.

An excellent beer selection couples with a local, cozy, communal bar scene. Good food rounds out the bill for a must visit local watering hole.

Amazing local bar with one of the best beer selections in the city. The burger is also really good. Communal seating makes for a cozy place.
