Some friends and I stopped in for a dessert after dinner out. The 4 of us ordered: 1 tea, 2 parfait and 1 honeydew slush. The place has a Japanese atmosphere(no surprise), but they sat us in back and I found it kind of cluttered and not very clean. It took awhile to have our order taken, but we weren't in a hurry.
Until.... so 15 mins later, which is kind of a long time if you're waiting for a dessert, tea finally comes out, super cool steeping cup, but that's it. It takes another 10 before the next dessert comes out. So there's 3 staff that we can see, the place only has a few patrons and there's no reason we should be waiting 25 mins for the rest of our order. Mine came in after another 5. Like, seriously five minutes until the next dessert, what the heck. The green tea ice cream tasted like green tea leaves ground up and frozen, and the red bean ice cream was not red bean ice cream but literal red beans sprinkled in. I didn't like it, but that's on me: they did in fact bring what I ordered, I just didn't realize what I was getting into. When we finished up, we were trying to get the check: forget the slush, it had been nearly an hour and we just wanted to leave. The waiter swings by, finally: literally 40 minutes or more since we ordered, with a sweaty melted watermelon slush. Wrong flavor, way too late and melted to the point that it's just watered down watermelon pulp, and who wants that. We had enough, we just wanted to go. After we paid suddenly the guy is Johnny on the spot to check out his tip: the cheek!
Maybe they were having an off night, but I won't be returning to see if that's the case.

Let me tell you how much I LOVE this place! So we strolled in off the street just from the signage alone, it was well worth it. We had just left Steiber's Sweete Shop and I didn't want to get ice cream there seeing as how we had just bought the sushi candy, so we left.
Once we walked in, the owner (I presume) was very welcoming. He struck up a conversation with us and asked us if we wanted it to go or to stay. He went on to tell us how the ingredients are all made from scratch and asked me if I had shaved ice before. I told him about Snowdays and a couple of other spots in the city that I had been to. He then went on to explain the difference between regular shaved ice, which is just ice shavings with flavoring (which they have on their menu as well) and the taiwanese shaved ice, which is actually different flavor ice creams shaved into tiny ice shaving pieces. He also told us that they had opened about 5 months ago I believe and he really liked the neighborhood.
Before we ordered, he brought us a sample of the low fat yogurt for us to try because we were apprehensive as to whether it would be good or not but it was delicious. We then ordered, I got the strawberry shaved ice with strawberries and mochi balls on the side. I was not a fan of the mochi balls but I've never been so that's not their fault. My date ordered the romantic valentine, which was I believe low fat yogurt, with a cereal center and fruits, with strawberry and cookie strip on the side. They were both really good and he came over to us after we finished and told us to check in on yelp because they had a 10% off deal. Normally, that's not something that owners actually push to their customers but I really appreciated it, even when I had already come across it as I checked in.
The place is really dessert clubby and I like that and the entire staff was really polite. The prices were fair and they are in an area I frequent a lot for all my dessert needs since Sugar and Plumm, Steiber's and Big Gay Ice Cream are all close by so I'm sure I'll be back in there plenty of times this summer!

I came here with a group of friends to try 'em out, and i have to say I will not be coming back to this place again,, Just like other desserts place, the desserts were pretty and nicely decorated, but beside the nice presentation, the taste was far from my expectation,, The fruits taste like two weeks old on the fridge, the waffles were so hard and the shave ice cream taste no other than sugar, the matcha ice cream taste like matcha powder mixed with water and they freeze it.. The only thing that is "okay" was the pudding, other than that, dont even bother to order.. They were out of a couple item on the menu too, which was the indication they weren't ready for business.. The place was disorganized and there were only two staffs on the floor "slow service". I personally wouldn't recommend this place, better to find some other place.. Dont waste your money here..

A wide variety of cold Asian desserts - shaved ice, puddings and ice cream
- Blueberry kiss - More grapey in flavor I thought; very sweet; the sago and other toppings were fun to eat; pretty large and good to split
- Japanese dessert inspired noodley thing (forgot name) - noodles were fun to eat, but it was honestly a overall a dish that is a bit difficult to eat - noddles with either spoon (strands too long) or fork (strands too delicate), so I kind of just drank it from the bowl; same with the matcha milk - it was like Taiwan shaved ice in a light matcha flavored milk, and a bowl of watermelon and cantaloupe balls
Very friendly service and relaxing atmosphere to hang out in
There's some games you can play with
Sometimes they have free samples to try.

Horrendous. Awful. Bad.
Everything about it... The from the staff who eat Thai food out of tupperware at the counter to the others who tell you not to order half the things on the menu because they're "not fresh" (I suppose that's a good thing). And sadly , even the "fresh" stuff wasn't good.
