THE DERMATOLOGY CENTER: Dr Peter Ilowite DO FAASD

Ok. Granted doctor office's are busy & by now everyone should know enough to expect delays, and everyone's experience will be different. With that said I had an appointment for 4:45pm(left early from work) I didn't leave the office till 6:00pm. As for the staff, I found them to be a bit scatter brained. As for the good doctor himself, I was very unsatisfied. I went in for an overall check up on my skin- adult acne. & dry skin around my nose. His recommendation was to get my skin exfolitated, not covered by my insurance mind you, the cost well over $200.00 and it wasn't a one time deal. When I told him I would gladly do it if my insurance covered it but couldn't since it didn't, his attitude & demeanor did change towards me. He wrote a prescription, that made my skin worse. That was over 2 years ago. Will I recommend him, NO!

Stay away from this doctor. He's the rudest doctor I've ever been to. Since I was unwilling for him to do a biopsy he changed his attitude towards me. He didn't want to answer my questions. When I insisted that he answers the main question I came with he ushered me out and said that he would call the police if I don't leave. When I asked for a refund he said that the undiagnosed mole on my back is going to kill me and he's not going to give me any money back. I left with such disgust for the doctor that I feel I have been mistreated unfairly.
