The music venue is pretty good for a medium sized crowd but can get crowded here pretty easily.

Great atmosphere. Funky old school vintage decor, great staff, very comfortable.

Love this place!! Best place to see a show in manhattan and the food isn't bad either!

We went last night, 2/6/2015 to see Top Shelf. The music gets 5 starts, but we were stiffed by the waitress and later found from other websites that others had the same experience at this establishment. We paid our bill in cash, handing the folder to the waitress on the way out. She came running out (pretty, slender blonde) saying we didn't pay enough, when we had given a $30+ tip on a $108 bill. She counted what was in her hand, and it was $103, claiming we didn't even leave enough for the bill. We were in a hurry to catch up with our friends who needed to get a train and at the time, gave her the benefit of the doubt. Even apologized! However, on the train home, my husband (knowing how much he started with at the beginning of the evening) counted the money in his wallet and realized that he HAD in fact given her the full intended amount. If you pay cash, have the wait service COUNT IT IN FRONT OF YOU. I strongly suggest you check your credit card charges if you use a card as well. The feedback about the service here is atrocious, so buyer beware. If it weren't for the music, the place would've closed down long ago.
