One would think a place like The Corner Bookstore would only exist in movies. The management at The Corner Bookstore has fit one of the best and biggest varieties of books outside of a major bookstore in a quite small location. Despite the size, if you love books you'll be in paradise. As soon as you enter there are books as far as the eye can see, wonderfully indexed and organized. You can't beat the prices, either!

Went here for the first time today. It was a great experience. Very high class neighborhood. I saw a celebrity. i didn't find what I was looking for though so kind of unhappy about that. Very clean. I will come back soon .

One of the last remaining independent bookstores in NYC. A small, quaint store with books for everyone.

I visited this bookstore for the first time. After purchasing a book, I found the book 1/2 price at Strands. I called this store to return the book. They offer a store back credit. This is a an UNETHICAL, BACKWARDS way of doing business! The staff was cold and unwelcoming. That may have been because they were all white males. I don't know, but one thing is for sure, NEVER AGAIN!!!! WAKE up people, STRANDS is the way, friendly, inexpensive, large variety. BY PASS this one and head to STRANDS.
