Best fried chicken in the city. One drawback is that there is almost always a wait but it is well worth it. Grab a beer and lurk near a table that appears to be finishing their meal.

I came here for one thing and one thing only: THE NACHOS!!
Walked in on a weekend while visiting New York and sure enough this place was crowded. It was so difficult to find a spot to even just stand, much harder to find a spot to sit and eat. We figure that if worst came to worst, we would eat these nachos standing up. Eventually after a few long minutes, we found an empty dirty table to cram into. Took a while for someone to come around and sort of wipe the table down but oh well. We placed our order of one of their Cadillac Nachos which are claimed to be the best (based on a few food websites). The one order def was enough to give everyone a taste and get you somewhat full, but two orders for 5+ people would have been perfect. There is a whole lot of crispy chips, layered with 3 different kinds of salsas, radishes, crema (sour cream), lots of cheese, and lots of delicious meat. Topped with cilatron and scallions, you will be left licking your fingers off. Each bite of the nachos you take will take to your happy place, one that isn't as crowded and messy as the Commodore can be on a busy night. Somewhere also with somewhat of a better service. The waitress wasn't so friendly, I don't think she said too much to us anyways but it's busy I guess and I am sure she had a million other things to do (doesn't justify bad service though). We were there for great nachos and great nachos we got.

Always a good crowd but always crowded. Good atmosphere, not too expensive, great decor. It's Williamsburg

Seat yourself
Order at the bar
Kinda dingy, drinks come in plastic glassess, feels like I stopped by on my RV(don't have one, but) trip or something.
I took my parents who were visiting from Tokyo, they loved it. they loved the quirkiness, glad they didn't use the bathroom, because that is another level.
The food was all great. 3 sandwiches, 3 drinks for about $70.
If I had this next door to my place, I'll probably go there more often, it's strangely comfortable.

Amazing fried chicken sandwiches. Affordable drinks. Cool outdoor seating in the back. Fun fact: Aziz Ansari's show Master of None filmed here.
