This congregation is the philosophic arm of Judaism. People here think about Judaism in terms of enlightenment values, as opposed to tradition. Jewish rituals observed, but adapted to the way we live in 21st century New York City.

Great place for social gatherings etc. As for any relavance to Judaism, there is more tradition in the kosher asile in Pathmark, (between the chopped liver & manischewitz gefilte fish display) than there is here, with no membership fee to boot! If you respect yourself enough to expect the truth in life & are tired of same old, same old (you probably know what I mean), walk a couple blocks over to the nearest real synagouge and treat yourself to a genuine Jewish experience. But make sure to come back for the latkes & dreidel party!
