Attended the Charles Tolliver concert July 2; concert was great and venue is very nice, intimate, and seating is well arranged, beer and wine is available too; great place to hear jazz. Listen to WBGO all day and hear live jazz at night, what more could you ask for!!!!!!!!

The cell is NOT a venue for any serious classical concerts, due to its inadequate piano. The owner of the place, who seems to suffer from a bipolar disease, is also very rude and refuses to improve the piano or to let musicians rent a better one. Too bad. Musicians, do not bother renting the place!

stumbled upon this little place with audience styled chairs and a big bed. there was a couple singing cute songs in the bright lit theater entertaining a huge crowd....so in I walked and sat down to be entertained.
It was quite a find and I'll be back.

The Cell Theatre is one of my favorite places to see interesting quality shows. The space itself is beautiful and the programming by the Cell's creative directors never disappoints! You should go here. Definitely.
