The Brookside

NIGHTMARE!!!! My wedding was cancelled cause he was operating when he shouldn't have. The state shut him down and he did a terrible job in finding a backup venue. If I didn't take 3 days off of work and leave work early 2 days I would have never been married on Saturday July 23rd. I can write pages upon pages of how terrible of a place & how horrible of a buisness owner Arthur is but Google won't let me type a million characters in this review. So I'll tell you about this 1 thing Arthur, the owner of the Brookside said to me. 3 days before my wedding day I found a place to get married, The Wilshire Grand Hotel. Arthur told me to tell the Wilshire that I'm a Veteran cause the Wilshire takes care of Veterans. WTF! I'm not a veteran. I have family and friends that are but I'm not. I couldn't believe he was saying this! How disgusting! Not only to lie about something like that but he wanted me to take advantage of a buisness that is doing the right thing by taking care of our veterans. Can a person be any disrespectful? I think not.
So, if you choose to have your wedding or party here know that are doing buisness with person that has zero integrity and cares nothing about you or this country. All the Brookside cares about is money. If you are an American, DONT GO HERE!

This newly renovated venue is beautiful.
Attended a sweet 16 in October and had a great time. The food was delicious!

Had my reception there but was called white eagle manor

Reasonably priced with great quality food; especially their Meat Ball Sliders and sweet potato fries. Spacious but yet cozy with an adjacent parking lot.

I love this place. My 8th grade classmates and I rented their ballroom for our Social and it was rather delightful, pleaing, and fun! Althugh, I must say that the service people lack the abililty to move quick enough. It took them almost half an our to refill our drinks and an hour to cook more food.
