The Boil

Nice place for large groups to eat and hangout. A bit pricey imo

The sauces were good. The lobster was the best in my opinion. Good selection of beers. Overall, a tasty experience!

I went to the Boil on Waverly and absolutely hated it. I will never go back. When I arrived the woman at the podium advised me that we only had 90 minutes to eat before they would ask us to leave. I was constantly reminded of the 90 minute deadline. This made me very uncomfortable and I could not relax enough to enjoy myself. They feed you an enormous amount of food that is quite tasty. The food arrives boiled inside a giant plastic bag. If you do not mind being rushed this is the restaurant for you. Also, I ordered a Watermelon cocktail and when it arrived it tasted like cucumbers. I asked for another drink (I paid for both). The waitress made a snide comment that perhaps I should read the ingredients before ordering. Wait. What??!! Of course I read the ingredients! How else would I know what to order?! This is not the type of restaurant I enjoy.

Expensive and messy but delicious and unique this place deserves five stars despite the wretched aftermath it causes in the bathroom.
