The food is amazing here, and the service is fantastic! Excellent burger and fries to die for. Love that there are fish options here, the branzino is perfectly cooked and delicious. The ceviche special, I wish was on the daily menu, so good. Also love the fact that almost everything is homemade. Even there drink mixtures are made from scratch......

While on vacation and walking around in Brooklyn on a cold and rainy day (yeah we plan our vacations right!) we happened upon The Bedford. It was a weekday and around 3 pm so it was pretty much empty. Considered "upscale" pub cuisine we were just coming in to get out of the rain, warm up on some coffee or have a drink and a snack. I ended up having an ice tea and a grilled cheese with tomato soup. Bar none this was the best grilled cheese and soup I have ever eaten. Cheddar with oregano, sriracha on sourdough and the creamiest tomato soup with a kick. Dipping the grilled cheese into the soup and eating was heaven in my mouth. My daughter enjoyed old bay fries and a drink, my wife the yellowfin tuna burger and fries. Besides the comfortable feel of the place, the music they played was rad but not overbearingly loud. The volume was perfect. The food presentation was lovely as well. The pricing is what I would expect in the Williamsburg area which I would call kind of hipster-ish and upscale. Not cheap but then the quality of the flavors were all there. Nice staff, chill atmosphere. I would consider this place one of the many highlights of our NYC experience.
