YOU COULDN'T PAY ME TO GO BACK. This place doesn't even deserve the 1 star, but apparently I have to give it something.
Okay, I am never one to complain however... This is an exception. Today, I decided to treat myself and go and get my hair done. I am a freelance hair stylist so I do not work in a salon. I always walk past this salon and think how cute it was. So today when I walked past, there was a deal on with their stylist Dina $60 for a single process and blow-dry. I have hair extensions and am getting new ones soon. I took in with me my color swatch of my new extensions and wanted to have my hair coloured to match them. Her reply was 'We don't have that color'
So we passed on the color and decided to just do a blow dry. I thought that asking me and doing a consultation about how I would like my hair blow-dried would be the next step? Nope.. I had to wait 15 minutes while she washed out and toned another client for a co-worker. Then she washed me.. No head massage with the conditioner, and freezing cold water. Originally she asked how the water was and it was a perfect temperature, she then turned it cooler? I may have been in the sink for 5 minutes, which as a hair stylist myself I know it should have been longer. Especially because I know we weren't in a rush and I was just getting a blowout. Then, i thought she would ask me how i wanted it? Nope. She did it how she wanted. After the 2nd section i said 'Oh, I'm sorry i thought you were pre-drying. I was waiting for you to ask me how i wanted my hair blow-dried. I would actually like a little bit of curl and bounce on the ends, and i really don't want a crazy amount of volume' My hair was bigger than my head. Her reply? 'Being a hairdresser yourself I am sure you are aware that I need to lift the hair up to blow-dry it. I will finish it and then get rid of some volume' Nope. She finished. It was dead straight. I asked if we could go through with the curling iron on the ends. 'That will be an extra $10' so i said 'Wow, I will just finish it at home myself then.' She then walked away from the station and then went to charge me. She couldn't work out how to do it so another stylist came up and took over. She then walked straight into the back. No 'I hope you have a nice evening' or 'Thank you for stopping by' Oh, and it cost me $40.
Am I the only one that thinks that this is bad customer service?

Christopher and co. really know what they’re doing! The best haircuts I've ever gotten have been here. I would definitely recommend it to anybody who doesn't want to just feel like the next person in line, like every other place I've ever gone before!
