Almost everything I bought from this store broke on the first day.
My overall experience with this store was very disappointing. I work nearby and would always pass by this shop on my way to lunch, it's a beautiful little dog boutique bursting with fun, eye catching things to spoil any dog. I have a Siberian Husky at home and always wanted to go in and get him something. When Christmas came around I decided to do my shopping for him here and finally went inside. The shop is extremely cramped on the inside with zero room to move around. It can accommodate about 1 customer at a time. I had to continuously flatten myself against a rack of dog leashes to allow the staff to wizz back and forth past me to stock shelves. (Though they were polite and helpful, so no complaints there.) Everything was extremely overpriced considering nothing was really that special. Whatever, I bought my dog a christmas jingle bell collar, a "tuff balls" industrial strength ball, a squeaky bone, and some dog cookies. Christmas rolls around and my dog runs down the stairs with his jingle bell collar ringing. Within 15 minutes of him wearing it, 3 of the large bells had falled off. Totally crappy. I give him his presents. He loved the cookies, which were very nutritious, but the squeaky bone? He chewed on it for 5 minutes before it completely stopped squeaking. After about 30 mins of rigorous play with the "tuff ball" it is starting to split down the middle. I am really really mad. I will definitely never step foot in this store again. For the high prices they charge and their entire "High end, quality NYC dog boutique" demeanor, I shouldn't be dealing with this cheaply made garbage. I'm better off shopping at Petsmart. The stuffed reindeer I got from there is the only thing that survived this Christmas.
