This is an amazing place. The staff is friendly and caring. The early bird special is just superb and the food is just delicious. This place is a must if you are in the area.

Great food for a diner. The place was packed, but service was reasonable, and the host sat us in a great area for hsving kids. Price was typical, service was spot on for a diner. Good place to go..will go again !

We love this place! Our go to spot. The owners are super friendly, always interacting with the customers. The host joe is the best! knows everyone by name. The food is outstanding! Fresh yummy comfort food. Obsessed with the split pea soup on Thursdays! Sometimes they run out! That's how good it is.

The food is basic. What made me give it one star is that I ordered a fresh fruit bowl for my baby and the waiter was hesitant and I did t know why. He served us and I noticed there was mold on the blueberries and I almost fed that to my baby. I spoke with the manager and he took my fruit plate and put it behind him on a counter and denied any mold on them. He tried to get one of his brothers to take the plate to the back kitchen and I stopped him and said that was my proof of mold in my food. I got really upset because instead of dealing with this professionally, they decided to pretend it didn't exist and hide the contaminated food. They eventually gave me my money back for my moldy fruit bowl when I basically had to raise my voice and say out loud what was going on so other customers could hear. Never have been back there since.

Good food, large portions. Have eaten here dozens of times over the years with my family and each of us can find something we like on their extensive menu. Definitely Clifton's better diner. Try it, you'll like the warmer feel of the recently renovated interior, too!
