My wife and I meet up for drinks after work. The hotel lobby is thriving with history, tje service was impeccable and the drinks were strong

Service at front desk was welcoming and genuine. Love that the New York Times is delivered to my door in the morning and that the gym is 24 hours. Hotel has a historic ambiance that makes for an inviting environment.

The wife and I came here to experience NYC together before our second was born. The entire trip was fantastic and this was the perfect spot to cozy up to each night. Although I was shocked at the size (re: small) of the suite, it had just the right personality. This place will have a permanent spot in our happy memories disk array.

My stay at the Algonquin was very nice. The front desk and the bell service was polite, efficient, and professional, as you would expect from a 4-5 star hotel. The rooms are a little on the small side, but well in keeping with other boutique hotels. Even on the 10th floor, you can hear road noise (police, ambulance, car horns), but the proximity to Times Square is probably mostly the cause of that. Beds are very comfortable and the thermostats in the rooms function properly (the hotel doesn't shut off the air conditioner in the winter, so you can cool your room down if it's too warm).

Nice break from the typical Marriott comfort that I also love. The breakfast is fantastic..service is great..rooms are small but well kept. Would come back!
