Soggy rice & Disgusting service.

I literally just got back to work from this place. I am in disbelief of how disgusting they treated me. I have been from places that are 100 a plate to places that are 5 a plate and NEVER have I felt so uncomfortable in a restaurant. To begin with they bring you water… just water nothing else not a drink menu, nothing. But I could deal with that, what I couldn’t deal with was a waiter with a butch haircut treating me like her personal enemy. I don’t know anyone has done to this women but even the couple next to me were in shock of how rude and angry she was.

She brought me my chicken and lemongrass soup and looked at me like she wanted to hit me. She was so rude and even when I said thankyou she simply walked away. Then she went off on a rant talking horrible things about me in her language.

BUT I UNDERSTOOD EVERYTHING !!!!!

She claimed that she didn’t understand why people like me walked in there along with many other insults.

I kindly left a $1 tip and wrote on it. I told her she was rude and disrespectful & that I understood everything.

Had baby roach in my plate. Told waitress, she just grabbed plate and acted like nothing happened.

I live in "the city" and go here all the time with my family on Long Island for birthdays. The prices are more than reasonable and the quality of food excellent. Half of us are vegetarian and have plenty of options --even for the vegans. The vibe is casual but the decor a step above that. I really do love this place.

I'm sorry the reviewer before that left the comment about people of color had a bad experience. My family happens to be all people of color and we are treated excellently. I know one of the waitresses is married to a man of color so there is some built in sensitivity here.

Good service, great prices, good vegetarian options

Bad Thai food. Period. I had the panang curry. It was weak and flavorless. I asked for very spicy and when I tasted it the heat was toddler tolerable. I sincerely miss Jaiya. I have always felt that it had the best thai food in the 5 boroughs. When they lost their lease in Elmhurst and moved to Hicksville I drove the extra miles just for take out. Now that's closed and I am stuck trying to find a near equivalent . I am happily crossing Thai Table off the list.
