Thai Son is the only pho restaurant I know of in the Jackson Heights/Woodside neighborhood and best to go during chilly winters evenings and rainy days.
Original pho, vermicelli, and rice/meat dishes, reasonably low prices, filing portions, and ultra quick service. I have not had one disappointing experience here, but note the service can be unpredictable at times.

The best Vietnamese I've had in Queens so far.
This Thai Son is as good as the Manhattan Chinatown location, and even closer to a subway stop. There seems to be less seating here, but fast service and an efficient kitchen means tables move quick - you won't be waiting long for your food at all.
Decent pho and tasty chicken on vermicelli guarantee I'll be back the next time I'm in Elmhurst.
