After reading the reviews left for this restaurant I have to admit I wasn't all that excited to try it, but my friend insisted that we try something new so I reluctantly agreed. I only ordered the seafood salad and was actually pleasantly surprised at the amount and quality of the dish (shrimp, scallops, clams, mussels, squid - all chilled). The service was also timely and pleasant. My only complaint is that the mussels tasted fishy which was a disappointment however every other item was deliciously prepared.
My friend ordered the broiled salmon and LOVED it. I tried her dish and have to agree that it was perfectly cooked.

Awful. This place is doomed. Everything about this joint screams failure. Extremely unprofessional. Do yourself a favor and drive right past it.

They were open on a Monday evening! Bread was brought to the table immediately on sitting down and we didn't have to ask for water. The salads were mouth watering. The entrees were large and my steak was cooked perfectly, and more than I could eat. Service was a bit slow and we had to flag down a server twice for beverages even though it was a slow night. Great choice of deserts. The small dining room could be noisy on a busy night with the bar crowd on the other side of the room. A wonderful meal!

Excellent fish: salmon (best), trout ,monk fish, grouper, etc fresh , large portions & delicious
check out the "bar menu" less (plenty) of food at 1/2 the price!
(great upgrade in last 2 years notice the newer reviews!)

The entrance is strange with no hostess in sight. There is no designated waiter to an area it seems as though whoever passes by will take care of you. No organization. The food was mediocre and overpriced. We had to ask for bread and even had to ask for our waters to be refilled. As far as Portuguese food goes, you are better off going to Newark.
