Food:
- Babka french toast - good but a bit dry, the syrup helps a lot; the babka has a bit of chocolate chips and raisins in it; very eggy toast
- Meatloaf sandwich - very good, a bit strong on the honey mustard so I'd ask for less of it; or for it on the side
- Boiled pierogies - moist and served with tasty caramelized onions; Sour cream extra dollar but it is for a lot. Like 4 times the amount needed for the small order (4) of pierogies I got. potato > meat > sauerkraut and mushroom > cheese (wasn't a fan of the type of cheese I think)
Service:
- polite, but a bit difficult to get check or water sometimes

I went here a few years ago. I remember it being a very solid restaurant. It is in a great location and has all the Polish/Eastern European food you would look for. My father loved it. They serve the hearty, traditional fare he enjoys but it is of a higher quality than a typical place that serves that type of food. My wife and I no longer eat animal products so Teresa's may no longer be a good option for us but if you enjoy Polish food you can't go wrong with Teresa's. Maybe we could still get borscht! :)

It's really really good to have a hot soup in such cold weather! And the soup here is really delicious! I ordered "trip soup" this time, and it really surprised me, because it's rare to see soup with homeycome tripe in US, and it warm all my body! My girl friend ordered chicken soup and it tastes light and comfortable! I also ordered fried pierogi with combination flavors, it's great as well!

Teresa's has the best brunch in Brooklyn Heights. Nuff said. Excellent value, fantastic home fries and delicious 3-egg omelets. Have been here several times as I live in the neighborhood.. this is my go-to brunch spot. Other places charge more for less. If you're interested, this is a full Polish restaurant and you can try and of their traditional delights.
