I was guested here by a member last week and had a great time. This place is basically an Elks Club / Knight of Columbus type place, but better... it has a shooting range.
Members can bring guests for $10 and they have about 10 ports to shoot from. Everyone here was SUPER friendly and let us shoot their guns AND their ammo. In general, gun people are very friendly like this but you get a real sense of generosity here. They are all about firearms as a sport & it shows.
The night we went, they were actually setting up for shooting steel plates down which is A LOT of fun. If you've never had the chance, you're missing out. It is way more fun than putting holes in paper & you get the instant feedback you're looking for instant of looking over your sights after every shot you take.
I am considering becoming a member here because it is much less busy than Gun For Hire in Woodland Park. The only downside at Tenafly is that their facilities are much older & simpler. You have to walk out (during a ceasefire) to change your targets.
