Tenafly Pediatrics

The doctors and the nurses are fantastic!!! We've seen most of them at some point, and they've all been kind and are clearly capable. The receptionists are the only reason I didn't award five stars. I feel they need empathy training.

I have two daughters going to Clifton office from past 3 years for regular checkup's, when ever I had emergency no one care to take responsibility that the patient is from their office. In past, I have two times bad experience from past three years. Especially office Staff named Michelle siting in window to collect co-pay in Tenafly Clifton is very smart to give very brilliant and mind blowing answers for any kind of questions. Fraud staff - They treat customer are illiterates.

Also I have bad experience with billing on my recent yearly check up for my daughters in 2015 Oct, The claim was not accepted by my insurance from Aetna even though I have good insurance 80-20 and hospital billing department person name called Diana's is one more smart lady teaching patient father should aware of all the policy terms and condition. I have question If I don't have insurance will these guy's accept me to schedule the appointment. They have done the mistake from their end joining my two daughters appointment into one and when the claim was rejected by Aetna because they accept yearly check once in every 12 months. The mistake was from office and sufferer was patient father to pay the claim bill which is ridicules.

So please be aware with these two ladies also, They threaten you if you want go out of their hospital saying that they are serving 30 thousand patients and they don't care about two patients.

I hate writing review but I had to express myself b/c of what this doctor did and I want ALL parents to beware:
I have 3 kids I have been with Tenafly Pediatrics since my kids were babies. I have a great relationship will ALL the doctors since they Hired a Dr. Daniel Anderson (a newbie with no experiences) My son had a hard fall and scrapped & burned his thigh. I called the office right away. they advise me what to do. I have bought my son in the doctor's office the NEXT day as per request... our main doctor was not at the office. So Doctor Anderson saw my son. we told him what happened. He gave a cream medication and CALLED DYFS on us because he assumed we were abusive to our son. and since he did not know us... he wanted to PROTECT himself and his name. REALLY!!!!! I love my children. they are my life. We been coming to Tenafly for over 5 years. We know the staff, We know the doctors. I am shocked that he called us ABUSIVE. Now I have DYFS calling me, coming to my house like if we are criminals, questioning my son, my children & members of my family if we abusive to our children. Who is not going to protect our FAMILY NAME NOW! We are a family of God, We are good people. No OUR FAMILY NAME will be in the DYFS database for two years. Shame on you Dr. Anderson, "you need to protect your name"....who told DYFS, he’s just doing his job...........I dont think so! YOUR ACTION SPEAKS IN Volume... You saw a Latin Family, who told you the truth of what happened to our son and you didn’t believe a word of what we said. The Funny Part about this story... The Next day, Doctor Anderson called me personally to give me the heads up that he called DYFS and not to worry about it! The reason why He called DYFS was b/c it’s the law and he had to PROTECT his name....REALLY, Protect your name!?!?!?!
When Dyfs show up, they said 'Why would the doctor call US for this"...my son had a really bad fall but it was not that extreme to call DYFS. To all my Parents out there... BEWARE OF DR DANILE ANDERSON. He will call DYFS on you if he does not know you, he will call DYFS is your child got hurt.... JUST TO PROTECT HIS NAME" For the next TWO years, I will let all the parents know what you have done to my son and to our family.... you are the Abusive one DR. Anderson! you are!

This is a great pediatrician. They are always prompt and accurate. the staff is friendly and the Dr's are great. I have no complaints, thus far, and my daughter has been going there since birth she is turning four soon.

My son is 2 1/2 yrs old and has been cared for by Dr. Robert Jawetz since he was born. We are a same-sex couple and are treated with great dignity and respect. Dr. Jawetz is well-trained (Columbia University) but is, more importantly, kind. He takes into account all of our concerns and has never rushed us or belittled even the dumbest question : ). I myself am a physician and am thus particularly picky. I feel that my child's health and well-being is in the finest hands.
