Adorable English place for tea and pastries that all seem to come covered in a liquid custard sauce. Clotted cream is on the menu. Still unsure of what that is. A fun place from time to time but not a regular haunt.

Great food and solid desserts. Recommend the tea & scones. Staff has been friendly and attentive - other than brunch time. Would not recommend coming in for brunch as it gets packed.

What a great place. Being English I am biased obviously, but a home away from home with great staff, lovely tea and superb scones to compliment the jam and cream........ I would rate as a must visit place on TripAdvisor but they are not there.. Even if your not English (actually especially if your not English), come here to see how afternoon tea is done properly in the US..... My only criticism is that the place is just not big enough, triple in it in size and you have the start of a franchise....

Enjoyable experience, with the cream tea (scones, clotted cream, jam, and tea) being very enjoyable. Indulged in treacle with custard for dessert, which was also quite nice. No complaints on service. Cafe is a bit packed.

The desserts and teas are tasty. However, it is really overpriced and what bothers me the most is $12.50 minimum per person. In other words, they made me eat my own dessert, even though I felt comfortable to share one with my husband.
