TCN Dental Care PC

Very dissatisfied with the level of service that I received. I went in about a broken crown over a month and a half ago. I keep calling to see the status of the pre authorization from my insurance to be told that my insurance has not yet responded. I decided to call my insurance only on be told they they never got any request for pre authorization for any type of service. I then call the office back to provide them with the information I received from my insurance at which point they let me know that they only actually submitted the information on July 26th (3 days ago) when I was told back in June that the pre authorization was submitted on the same day I went in about the crown which they would have taken care of right away if I paid for it out of pocket at a cost of $500.00. which I was not willing to do because I have insurance, who, the dentist insisted would not cover because I am having my crown replaced in under 5 years and they only pay 1 every 5 years. I let them know that this coverage is new, so there should be no issue in the cost of the procedure being covered. They informed me that they would submit the claim but doubted very much that my insurance would cover it so paying would be best. I am very tuned off by TCN Dental at this point. Extremely misleading and very unprofessional. I will be taking my business elsewhere!!
