This place is busy so they don't really need any help from my review. Since we had a good experience and there are a couple of knuckle heads writing terrible review, I thought I would post. Yes, long waits. We got there right at 5:00pm and sat in the tent with heat lamps. We had to wear our jackets. To eat inside, 40 minute wait. That being said, the food was great and inexpensive. Family size portions, even the small Greek salad can easily feed 3 people. We had the grilled octopus, which was tender and very flavorful. We also shared the pork kabobs. Again, very tender and flavorful. Plenty of food so we had some left overs for the next night. Without the wine, the bill would have been $40, which could easily feed three people. Service was prompt and the waiters were quick to respond to requests. I will return again.

Better be prepared - looooooong line for dinner BUT the food is outstanding! Branzino, lemon potatoes, greek salad and you are in heaven!

The food is outstanding, the portions are generous and the prices are very reasonable. However, be prepared to wait on line for a very long time during peak dinner hours. It is well worth it, just be prepared. You can give your phone number to the hostess and kill time in a nearby bar and she will call you when your table is ready. That is how we cope with the waiting.

I recommend any and all fish items. The fish is fresh and prepared perfectly. They accept credit cards but you must tip in cash, so be prepared. Also, there is no coffee or dessert on the menu to keep the tables moving. However, they usually offer everyone a free dessert of their choosing to everyone at the table as long as they don't run out (rarely happens).

By all means go and you won't regret it!

long wait as this is a very popular place and because they do not accept reservations. however, once you are seated the food comes very quickly. must have the seafood!

We ate outside and it needs a good power washing. Menu had crumbs inside, the dinner check holder was greasy. I am skeeved out by places that aren't clean. The food is just ok. The Moschofilero wine was very good. Don't understand the long lines when there are very good Greek restaurants in nearby Astoria.
