It's pretty typical, hole in the wall takeout. Nothing fancy or all that authentic, but if you stick to staples like chicken with garlic sauce, hot and sour soup or General Tso's, you can't go wrong.

Chinese-American classics like General Tso's and Hot & Sour Soup. Low prices and fast service. A large portion of the menu looks like it's made in-house. Don't expect anything earth-shattering, just a solid neighborhood Chinese restaurant.
Recommendations:
The House special soup has wontons, vegetables, chicken, pork and shrimp for about $6. Affordable, healthy, fast.
The small BBQ pork (under "appetizers") is two cups of delicious pork cooked in BBQ sauce. Meat lovers rejoice.
Don't want too much sauce? Cutting carbs? Just ask for it on the side.

I've been living on this block almost 12 years. Every once in awhile I give this place another chance and try something else on the menu. Look, I love food--from 25 cent snack cakes to fine caviar. I can eat and enjoy almost anything. That includes cheap Chinese food. But this is the absolute worst Chinese food you can get on Earth. Everything here has either an off taste or no taste, despite copious amounts of gloppy sauce. It's a family run place and I wish them well. In fact I see the proprietors eating sometimes, but it's food that's not on the menu. Who are these places cooking for? What if they made Chinese food and not what some devil-given formula told them Americans like. This food is gross.
