Adore the guanciale pizza, cavatelli, and wonderful service.

Wonderful menu, great ambiance. We had an engagement party here and it was perfect from the excellent and helpful planner to the beautiful room and delicious food.

It's no lie the food is delicious! However it's not just food that we're after in this quest for the perfect dining experience. Although the deliciousness of the great freshly prepared Italian cuisine available at Tarry lodge including the delicious pizza (also available to go) there is a lot left to be desired in the dining room. It's awfully loud and feels quite cramped at times. If you drink enough of the grappa you may forgive the decor. The prices are high as to be expected from a Balotelli Bastianich restaurant. It's definitely worth a visit but surely not the best Italian available in the area. There's no way to justify the high price of the to go pizza when you have a place like Sal's in Mamaroneck. It is a nice addition to the mostly Hispanic choices in Portchester.

Food was very good , but did not rise to "great" - service was average+ - restaurant is too crowded; it seems like they've squeezed in a few extra tables , too cramped.

Still I would try it again on a less crowded night.

Fun family lunch. Tons of options, lots for kids. Tasty crisp pizzas. I loved the eggplant parm. Very kid friendly. Its always packed, every room, every seat. Superior service for the neighborhood and any trattoria for that matter. We go back as often as possible.
