I just went to this business today and hands down 5 stars! I walked in and greeted hello instantly and when a left with a goodbye. I walked down into the store area and a gentleman instantly helped me out. I most likely looked like I was new to the shop which I was, but the service was perfect! The guy helped me out with excellent information and didn't push me into buying anything! He told me to contact my Trainer to get more information on what kind of Bow and Arrows I should use! He explained the budget of how expensive a Bow can be and so on.
Very knowledgeable and would go back for purchasing.
One more note. A few months ago I called and the gentleman was super nice with my questions I had about lessons and the business.

I bought a Bear 70 lbs compound bow from a local shop and it broke the first day. A friend recommended I came to the shop to get it fixed. They laid it out very honestly, they told me to fix the cable it would cost around 200$ and offered a couple alternatives to try and help me get it done asap. I found I had over payed for the bow from the local store and ended up buying two bows from targeteers. They were very helpful, helped me get on target and ready to go before I even walked out the door. They all around were very knowledgeable and helpful but I could see where a couple of one stars came from. These people are straight to the point, no bs, and professional, and some people may mistake that for rudeness. If you want something you have to have a pair and ask, these are not the people that will kiss your feet and run to you to fit your needs. Ask and they will give you an answer and you can trust that there word is backed by years of experience. No complaints, reasonable prices, and helpful staff, I'd recommend.

I have been bow hunting for 35 years, when I started, I tried many shops, I actually bought my first bow, a PSE, at a shop in Westchester, at that time it was a top shelf bow, one of the best, I joined a club in the Bronx that shot regularly, but I couldn't get good groups no matter what I did. After spending a small fortune and being told that it was me I went to Targeteers for help.
Rob the owner listened to my story and took me into the range, after watching me for a little while he told me that the bow wasn't right for me, he said that I needed a shorter draw length and a few other minor adjustments, to get my draw length right he ordered me new cams, keep in mind that l had gone to many other places for help, and this place was my last resort. 10 minutes after he installed my cams and made the adjustments I was shooting one inch groups, he made me a good shooter. He is the only one I will let work on my equipment period. I have purchased many bows since then and I have brought many friends and family members to the shop, this is the best archery shop in the tri-state area.

I just got a brand new Mathews Halon 6 from Targeteers yesterday. I do want to clarify something. I went there a year ago and bought a Mathews Chill SDX and according to my experience with them I would agree on certain comments that people have stated here in google. HOWEVER I have to emphasize that my experience this year has been awesome compared to the one from last year. The staff was nothing but nice to me. Even when I called on the phone they were really nice. Great Great Cuatomer service!! Nothing like before, they have improved their customer service by A LOT!! . If you read the bad comments here, let me tell you to not pay too much mind to them because is totally different now! I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking to buy a bow. The staff is very knowledgeable. Overall, it has been an amazing experience!

I wish I had an experience to review. Appointment was made via telephone on Thursday April 7 for today (April 13) at one o'clock for a first time lesson for my son. I asked around and was told this is the place for him to learn. We arrived ten minutes early and were greeted by a man finishing his lunch. He asked if we had an appointment. I said yes , he went in the back and came out with a younger guy. Then they told me they had no instructor for the lesson. "My instructor is on vacation this week" were his exact words. No apology for the mix up, nothing!! They could have cared less about it it seemed. I left my name and phone number when I made the appointment. No one thought to call me so I could re-schedule?!?!?!? Nothing worse than getting your kid all psyched up only to be let down. DISAPPOINTED IS AN UNDERSTATEMENT!!!!!
