Taqueria Los Gueros

What a horrible experience I had at this place. I drove to this place thinking I was going to Baja Fresh which is what this restaurant was before for many years. To my surprise it is now a different franchise with called Los Gueros with zero customer service.

We ordered burritos and tacos and it was all super extremely spicy to the point that 2 bites removed our mouth taste. I returned the burrito to the cashier with the arrogant attitude and informed her that it was too spicy. After she replied that this is how their Salsa is and rolled her eyes, she agreed to make a new one which we ended up putting in the trash because it was completely tasteless.

The restaurant itself looks really nice, but the service is too slow. About 20 minutes for a simple burrito and tacos.

To start with, the service was very slow. There were no fewer than 6 groups of people who came in after me and got their meals first.

I got the food, had high hopes because it did smell terrific. There was a very tiny basket of chips which was OK ... I wasn't there for the chips. Then the disappointment started. They might as well have not asked me what kind of meat I wanted because there was such a small amount that I couldn't have known the difference. Bite after bite I expected that the person making it was just careless and put all the meat in one area but no. I bet there wasn't a solid ounce of meat. On the 2nd half of it I even took pictures after every bite. All rice and beans with teeny tiny hints of carnitas. When I say tiny imagine maybe MAYBE the size of 3 grains of rice and far smaller than any of the beans. Maybe the person who made it was hungry and ate my carnitas but whatever happened it didn't make its way into my burrito.

I really should have stayed with the original plan and had Panera.

This was little different mexican food experience. It took little long but it was worth to try. It is closer to chipotle, qdoba

The food is ok, but it is way too spicy even when you ask for mild. It has tv screens all over the place, but instead they put some kind of ugly music at the loudest it can be. The music is ugly, nasty, and sometimes degrading. This is an ok place and it'd be a nice place to stay at if it wasn't for that nasty music.
