As other users have mentioned, stick to happy hour for your drinks. Prices are high for this location. I had a pumpkin ale in a tiny glass for $8. My wife had rigatoni with bolognese sauce, which was pretty good. I had a Smokehouse burger that I requested well done; well done is not charred crispy on the outside. Fries were hard to chew like undercooked roasted potatoes. Server asked how it was and when I replied "Not good," she couldn't be bothered to find out why. Why did you ask then? Maybe I'll come back for just drinks but with better prices at other local bars, it is unlikely.
Other thoughts; valet parking is a little silly at a dressed up pub like this one. Taphouse Grille aspires to be something greater than it actually is.

I'm a huge fan of the Taphouse despite only going once. They may not have the sheer numbers of beers on tap like the Shep, but they hit the bigger ones that you would probably want anyway. Their food selection is also, in my opinion, wider, and just as good. I feel like the overall experience is also more ties together, as there is less disparity between the bar and restaurant. Their food tends to be more on the upscale, smaller portion side, but is executed so well, this is not a criticism. The short rib tacos we had were incredible. Small, but packed full of flavor. Their craft beer selection is probably the main reason to visit. They have a good number of craft beers on tap, including a great range from across the US and a good selection from Belgium and Germany. I was really impressed with their list as it included smaller breweries we saw in VT and hadn't been able to find elsewhere in the area. We'll definitely be back!

Update on 4/13:
During happy hour this place is really nice as beers are down to $4 each and apps are 1/2 off. However outside of it, its very expensive to have drinks. At $6-$7 for a beer, some of which you only get 10-12oz, its too expensive for casual drinks/dining. It is OK if you go there for an occassion, but I wouldnt go there on a Sunday to watch a game at the bar. The food was tasty and qualty seems nice. Service has been good at the bar. Considering it's location, I really think they need to bring down the prices a bit on their beer. The place could do so much more business, which you can tell, because during HH there are a decent amount of people, but once HH ends, there arent many patrons in the place.

Well, reading the other posts I must have really lucked out...Me, my wife and 3 children had a great experience thanks to Groupon so I have no opinion on pricing ;o). The food was great...Wife had FishNChips, I had some killer penne chicken sausage hot spicy thing. Kids had a couple of Pizzas (1 reg, 1 Hawaiin) that were good Pizzas, I was very suprised to taste good Pizza in a place that didn't have "Pizza" in the name. Besides our friendly and tentative waitress a gentlman came around twice asking if everything was ok. I went on a Tuesday so as to avoid the dumb mandatory Friday night Valet parking. Great place I certainly will return.
P.S. almost forgot...the beer, a fine selection of tap beers. Both My Wife and I brew our own so we both found ourselves pleased with selection of local beer on tap and others.
