Fantasic Yoga. Dahn Yoga is different in a good way. It's clean, it's fun, it's friendly and it works really well. I love how I feel after each class, and the workshops are really mind blowing! try it you won't be dissapointed!

I started to practice Dahn Yoga in 2007. It has always been helpful for relaxation and energizing. I then stopped the practice for about half a year and afterwards suffered insomnia and depression. After trying many methods that did not work, I went back to the Park East Dahn Yoga Center. The master and the staff there gave me tremendous support and help. They taught me self-healing methods, effective ways of releasing anxiety and stress. After attending the Shim Sung workshop, participating in the Healing Course, and continuing to practice for a month, I totally recovered!! Not only did my life get back on track, but I also become more positive about everything! It was truly an amazing experience. I highly recommend this place!

Beautiful, clean, inspiring and so helpful for clearing my mind. The energy workouts are very different from a physical work out - this style is wonderfully challenging for the brain ... REFRESHED is the best word I can find to describe the feeling that I get from training here!

I came to Dahn Yoga for stress and anxiety. This manifested itself with tenseness in my joints and stomach. The deep stretching exercises and especially the mediation has helped immeasurably. The atmosphere in class is one of peace. The instructors teach us about our body and mind: the connection between the two and how to stop the busy thoughts that occur in our every day lives. For an hour we're in an atmosphere of calm and relaxation. I am indebted to Dahn Yoga for helping me. The instructors have spent time listening to me tackle my problem and given me both practical and spiritual advice which has brought comfort. I cannot recommend this class highly enough. We're all there for different reasons: some have severe physical problems and others like me suffer from anxiety. No matter what the problem is there is no judgment only unconditional support. This class has been a gift to me and will always remain a part of my life.

I love this place and would recommend it to everyone looking for stress reduction, to increase their energy, general health and overall flexibility.

It's more of a holistic exercise centre to reduce stress and improve the body's energy flow, than a typical Yoga studio. They do this by combining elements of tai chi, ki gong, yoga and meditation, so it differs quite a bit from the Indian style Yoga I was used to (Vinyasa).

The whole atmosphere of the centre is very peaceful and everyone is very friendly. The Masters are very helpful and make a lot of time to answer all questions. As the exercises are suitable for all ages and fitness levels, you have quite a mixed class. The classroom floor is padded so you don't need a mat.

After an introductory session, where the Master explained the principles of their practice and we did some basic exercises, I decided to participate in a class:

We started off by tapping one's lower belly, to stimulate the 2nd chakra (= your core / energy center). Then moved on to the "intestinal exercise" where you move your lower abdomen in & out. This helps release toxins and improve overall health.

Afterwards we did stretching and other exercises focussing on energy flow, flexibility and strengthening of one's core & lower back. It finished with a quiet meditation. I felt refreshed and full of energy after class.
