This Japanese bakery located in Tribeca serves up delicious, pricey sweets that is perfect for the Asian palate.
Flavors of cake includes: cassis, green tea matcha mousse, strawberry shortcake.
I ordered a green tea matcha mousse. I loved the red bean decorations on top and within the cake. The cake had a rich velvety texture with the occasional chewy sweet red bean. The cream was sweet but not too sweet and the matcha taste was just right: slight earthy, bitter taste of the matcha.
My friend recommended the black sesame macaron.
I advise you go before 5pm. A lady came in to the bakery around 5:30pm asking for macaron and they sold out!

Great bakery with both sweet and savory breakfast pastries, as well as sandwiches and salads for lunch. They bake all of their own breads in the back and have a window where you can see them making everything fresh. There's also a baking schedule posted so you know which days to get which types of loaves. They also have assorted iced teas, coffee, and juices. Plus, the sale basket toward the back on the left hand shelf has great deals on some of their less than perfect breads, or breads which haven't sold in a few days, but which are still delicious. Highly recommend at least getting a snack here.

My 2nd time here. I really like the green tea crepe. I tried 5 other pastries and cake and they were all okay. The flavors were not quite there.

Small Japanese bakery with a lot of baked goods and drinks. The green tea crepes are unbelieveably good. There's tables and seats in the back but it's very limited.

Came here on a Saturday noon, no line. Staff were pretty friendly. Matcha crepe was not amazing but it's very good, a little heavy. Not too sweet, just the right amount matcha coating, and cream filling. I agreed with some other user's comment that the red beans filling could use a little bit stronger taste. I paired it with Americano. The coffee was not so good, tasted like watered down generic coffee from a pot.
Will come back for some of the bread they sell there. Looks interesting.
I suggest offering some good coffee.
